The easiest way to unlink from ANY talkgroup is as follows:
You first must go into the CPS and set the following in the CPS:
Attach your radio and download your current code plug settings and save them.
Click on the button definitions to bring up that page.
Near the bottom in the number key quick contact access double click on number key 5.
Click on the upside down triangle on the right side of the box and scroll down to the UNLINK and click on it.
Then send your new changes to the radio. Save the new code plug.
Now when the radio screen is not receiving any station.
Press and hold the 5 key on the radio until the UNLINK shows up on the screen.
Press PTT to send the unlink command and you should hear ‘not linked’. If you do not press the PTT within a couple of seconds the command will go away.
