The annual ARRL January VHF Sweepstakes starts at 2PM local (1900UTC) on Saturday January 15 and ends at 11PM Sunday January 16 (0300 Jan 17), on all VHF, UHF and microwave bands from 50MHz up.
The main activity will be on SSB 6m (50.125-200) and 2m (144.200 +/- 20KHz), and FT8 (50.313 and 144.174). Likely there will be FM direct activity on 52.525, 146.520, 55, 580, 223.500, and 446.000.
We would like every club member that has VHF capability in any mode or frequency to make QSOs with the club station N4BRF that will be operated by George WA2VNV and Rick K1DS.
We will be looking for those who are limited to 2m FM on 146.520 Saturday 5.00 – 600 PM and Sunday 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM. You can also text Rick at 215-284-5517 to request a QSO schedule.
Please try to work us on as many bands as possible.
