Now that Covid restrictions are lifting and life is moving towards a new normal, we thought it might be interesting to look back at what the very beginning of the pandemic looked like, not far from its origin. I was caught when this happened, on the other side of the world, on a cruise ship that never got to where it was supposed to go, as desperation and confusion started on board and off. The pictures and the story capture just what it was like as the world started to realize what was coming. A world-class vacation turned from Paradise to Problem Solving!
