BRARA minutes for 6-April-2021
The BRARA monthly association meeting was held via Zoom conference. The meeting was called to order by the President KO4XL at 7:17 pm. Attending: 31 Zoom participants. Each attendee checked in with name call and location. Officers and directors provided an update of their club related activity.

Motion by Jay N2ELG to accept February minutes as posted, second by John, N1QFH, accepted.
Mike also provided an update on the upcoming auction on April 17.

President’s Report
Bruce let the club know that going forward he will open up the Zoom session at 6:45 PM for open discussion, followed by the business meeting starting at 7:15. The goal is to get to the presentation by 8:00.
The Board is actively working on updating the Shack reopening plan.
Winter FD results will probably be provided as an email.

Bonnie presented the treasurer’s report for March 2021

Ralph reported that he has been able to procure a lock that matches our second set so we can change the set when ready.

Jay reported that he has been taking pictures of the items for the auction.

John reported that he has updated the website, adding a new tab labelled “Shack Access”. This is a form that will be used to request Shack access in the first stages of reopening. He also created a training video. Members are welcome to try it to see what it looks like.

- Jeff reported an upcoming foxhunt run by the DCARC on April 18
- FL QSO party coming up on April 24 & 25
- COVID in FL slight rise in numbers and positivity.

Chair of committee working on recommendations for shack reopening. The next BOD meeting will be dedicated to discussing the issues such as vaccination requirements.

Question from a member on if we have a census of vaccinated members. The answer is no we do not. We do not have the right to collect HIPAA information.

Presentation
Ralph Mele W1DAR, presented his design and installation of a HOA friendly antenna system in his house followed by a discussion until roughly 9:30 when the Zoom session was ended.
