Hi to all

For those who didn’t come out to the Boynton Beach Inland Park, well you missed a great time.

The weather was great and the radio gods were smiling upon us finally!

BTW Does anybody know what the god of radio is called, I sure would like to know?

With my simple, very S I M P L E antenna!

Nelson Winter NE4LS and my self were able to work

S57DX Slovenia
LZ3BQ Bulgaria
IK4GRO Italy
HB4HBY Switzerland
4A50CRH Special event station in Mexico.
KC3Y a P.O.T.A. station in PA

As well as numerous stations in Maritime Nova Scotia, main land Canada and the good ole US of A west to California.

It seems that maybe better days of propagation might be ahead.

Antenna consists of:

A Ultimax Antennas designed and built 4:1UNUN.
Self made ground/radial plate.
4 looped radials (2) @12ft and (2) @ 24ft.laid on the ground in a flower petal fashion as per Albert from Ultimax Antennas suggested.
25 ft wire for the radiator supported by a Black Widow crappie pole on a stage monitor tripod.

Ultimax antennas 4:1 UNUN mounted to a home made brass radial plate

Rig:

Yaesu FT-857
MFJ-949 Versa Tuner
