First reminder that the Monthly Palm Beach County ARES® meeting will be this Wednesday, Nov 14, at Palm Beach County Fire Station 42 14276 Hagen Ranch Rd, West Delray Beach at 7:00 PM
Every even month the ARES® meetings are held on the 3d Wednesday at the Red Cross in West Palm Beach (February, April, June, August, October, December 2018) every odd month the ARES® meetings are held on the Second Wednesday at Fire Station 42 on Hagen Ranch Road in Delray Beach. (January, March, May, July, September, November 2018)
We will be continuing training by reviewing chapters of EC-001 and the after action reports from Hurricane Michael.
Please be reminded that beginning (probably) in Jan 2019, the minimum training required to be an ARES® member covered by liability insurance will be ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800. ARRL-EC-001, and the ability to deploy or be a net control.
Current members who do to meet these requirements or are willing to keep up with the upcoming training requirements and do not wish to deploy will be assigned to a non member support status, and will no longer be required to attend meetings.
You are all invited and encouraged to attend.
