Change membership dues from $25 to $35 annually.

At the December 2, 2017 Board of Directors Meeting, the Board voted to set 2018 dues at $35. Members can save $10 increase if renew at the old rate ($25) by December 31, 2017. Starting January 1, 2018 dues will be $35 per year.

Any on-air activity sponsored, coordinated or operated by BRARA shall utilize a repeater or talk group that meets the following conditions:
- A BRARA owned and documented repeater or talk group
- The organization or individual owning the repeater or talk group has given explicit permission to BRARA to use repeater or talk group for purposes of a specific activity
- If the repeater or talk group is not owned by BRARA, the owner has agreed via verifiable means to all of the following conditions:
- BRARA is the final authority regarding the rules under which the activity is conducted
- BRARA is the final authority on who may participate in the activity and by what means
- All contact lists, logs, and participant lists as well as any other work products of the activity shall be considered to have been created on behalf of BRARA.
- All rights regarding the present and future use, dissemination and/or disposition of said work products shall belong exclusively to BRARA.

Discrimination and Harassment Policy

Move to accept the following:
Amateur Radio is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communications together. It is enriched by and enjoyed by individuals from all traditions, heritages, backgrounds and experiences. It is the policy of BRARA that it does not discriminate or harass on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion. Furthermore, it does not condone harassment or discrimination in membership or by members on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations. Unwanted personal contact with, and unwelcome advances, are also not acceptable conduct and may constitute harassment.
Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation may be reported to any officer of BRARA, who shall keep the matter confidential, and within 30 days bring said report or issue to the attention of the Board of Directors of BRARA. If substantiated, prompt action shall be taken which may include a verbal reprimand, suspension or termination of membership by the Board. The report shall be
in writing, dated and signed by the person bringing the issue to the attention of BRARA. Both the individual making the report and the person accused of inappropriate behavior shall be treated with respect and the matter shall be kept confidential pending action by the Board of Directors. A bad faith complaint may be considered an act of harassment.
Nothing in this policy shall be construed to prevent any individual from pursing any other lawful remedy.
