BRARA General Membership Meeting minutes for September 2, 2025
The BRARA monthly association meeting was held in person and using Zoom conference. There were 11 attending via Zoom and 19 in the library. The meeting was called to order by BRARA Secretary Mike Greenfeld K8BQ at 6:42 pm local, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Our speaker this month is Dave Vest K8DV from DX Engineering. He will speak on common customer support questions as well as what’s new in equipment.

Mike has posted the August General Meeting minutes to the BRARA Blog. Bill WA2NCH, made a motion to accept the minutes seconded by Jeff S K4BH. Motion was carried. Mike gave an update on the repeater situation. He invited everyone to visit the Shack to see all the work that has been done. We are relocating the web site to QTH.com which will save us money in the long run.

Above amounts include reserve funds of $5,000
Balance available for operating capital after deposits and expenses clear: $7,606.32
DUES INCREASE: The BRARA board voted to increase dues for our 2026 year based on increasing costs and a drop in membership. The last increase was January 2018. We start collecting dues for 2026 in October.

We have about 20 items good for the auction. Other small items for tables at the Radiator Grille. Auction is on Zoom October 18
