BRARA General Membership Meeting minutes for October 7, 2025
The BRARA monthly association meeting was held in person and using Zoom conference. There were 10 attending via Zoom and 14 in the library. The meeting was called to order by BRARA President Ralph Mele W1DAR at 6:32 pm local, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Our speaker this month is Frank Haas KB4T and he will be talking about Locating and Eliminating Power Line Interference.

We have about 20 items good for the auction. Other small items for tables at the Radiator Grille. Auction is on Zoom October 18 at 1 PM

Mike has posted the September General Meeting minutes to the BRARA Blog. Jeff S K4BH, made a motion to accept the minutes seconded by Michael KM4MFM. Motion was carried.
Still working on locating a new site for our repeaters. Have a couple of places we’re working on.

Income: $1,458.31
Income includes: $225 for Kenwood, $1200 for tower, and $33.81 in membership
Expenses: $119.18
Expenses include: $52 for two months Constant Contact , $13.96 for water and $53.22 for air conditioner filters
Not included: $367.64 for Directors Insurance and $359.42 for quarterly electric bill
Above amounts include reserve funds of $5,000
Balance available for operating capital after deposits and expenses clear: $8,344.39
President’ Report: Ralph W1DAR
Electric bill for the last quarter was $360. Suggest increasing the A/C thermostat to 78 or 80 when the Shack is empty.
Andrew KO4TZK has been working with other Scouts and assistance of some BRARA members to install his Eagle project at the Shack.
We have a mouse in the equipment closet. Have some traps out.
