Picture of George, WA2VNV and Rick, K1DS at operating position during the contest. Radios and computers behind them. Operated 22 hours in the chair for George over the weekend of 36 hour contest time.
Good results with Es on 6 meters and the upper 5 bands thru 1296. No radio equipment failures, just usual computer quirks and port conflicts. No Murphy surprises. Thanks to some of the club members who worked us for a few more points. Storm cold front created some enhancement Sunday afternoon. Now recovering from the grind. They have still to merge log files, check for dupes, figure raw score and submit results to the ARRL.
MOSFET - The Most significant invention
Great history video how IC's came to be.

STATION-4: FT-1000
Station-4 is in the VHF/UHF room on the north facing desk. It has a FT-1000 setup sitting to the left of the secured AMARS station (CLICK FMI). A B-Square Terminated Folded Dipole (CLICK FMI) is available. It remains disconnected and requires no tuner.
If any operator wants to use the FT-1000, they may connect the B-Square TFD to the FT-1000 jumper coax and operate. Please no AMPS and only run 100 watt limit. When done, please disconnect the B-Square TFD.
The B-Square TFD is 124ft located at approx. 45 feet on the VHF/UHF tower with legs going east-west about 15ft off the ground.
A new year with new challenges. If you ever considered becoming a certified MARS operator, this may be the opportunity for you. Please contact John.C N1QFH email wirehead52@gmail.com.
Every so often a member may need to have their password reset. Please email Henry Seidner WA2ROA via hseidner@me.comand he will work with you to handle your request.
