USING SHACK STATIONS
STATION RESERVATIONS

MUST BE MADE BY FRIDAY 6PM 25-JUNE

SHACK OPERATORS AS: N4BRF / 1D / SFL

This year the Board has approved a scaled back operation of field day. It will include 1 station: IC-7600. The hours of operation are restricted to daylight hours when the park is open (7am to 7pm).

DUE TO ARRL RULES, WE HAVE CHANGED TO 1D AND ONE TRANSCEIVER.

If you want to operate a station and are a BRARA member for at least 1-year, please contact

John.C N1QFH via wirehead52@gmail.com

He will act as your proxy to assign your station and hours.

Here are some items to consider

  • Operators are expected to follow BRARA Shack Opening requirements.
  • Operators will be greeted by a Board member to ensure they have what is needed.
  • Each operator will complete a manual log of their FD contacts.
  • Logs will be collected at the end of the event and submitted via the ARRL portal
  • N1MM will not be used this year to log.
  • The Assigned Stations List will be posted on a regular basis .
  • Operators are welcome to bring their own food and and drinks.

The following station will be available for operation:
  • Station-3 - IC-7600  - 40/20/15/10m on fan-dipole
USING YOUR OWN STATION
Please to be sure to indicate in your home-call entry that you are also a club member for Boca Raton Amateur Radio Association as described below. As for 2020 FD and 2021 Winter FD, members who use their own assets may submit results under their own callsign (NOT N4BRF) as was done in prior events.
HOW TO SUBMIT AGGREGATE CLUB SCORE

From 2021 FD website read the rules and submit as directed:

Q: How does my club submit an aggregate club score?  Does the club need to add up each participating member’s scores and submit a club entry with the aggregate score under the club call sign?

A: Each participant will submit his or her own independent entry under his or her call sign. 2021 FD will calculate the aggregate score based upon the club name entered on the official Field Day entry form via the web applet (preferred method) or on the paper Field Day entry form. In order for results to be tabulated correctly, all club participants must enter the club’s official name exactly the same (see below), avoiding abbreviations or acronyms. This is important!
