BRARA General Membership Meeting Minutes for July 7, 2026
The BRARA monthly association meeting was held in person and on Zoom at the Boca West branch of the Palm Beach County Library. There were 18 in attendance at the library and 5 on Zoom. The meeting was called to order by BRARA President Ralph Mele W1DAR at 6:33 pm local followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. We then did a quick round of introductions going around the room. Tonight’s speaker is Andrew Auster KO4TZK who will tell us about his trip to YOTA in June.

Mike has posted the June General Meeting minutes to the BRARA Blog. Henry N0HNK made a motion to accept the minutes seconded by Jay S N2ELG. Motion was carried. New member Harold Lambert W2TT. Current membership is 130.

Income: $306.66
Income includes: $306.66 in memberships
Expenses: $211.98
Expenses include: $57 for 2 months constant contact, $79 for wordpress forms, $21.29 for new mouse for station 1, $54.69 for final Radiator Grille expense
Not included: $252 for back ordered AED battery, approximately $395 for second quarter electric bill, $350 for automatic antenna tuner for station 3 and also a cable for the tuner.
Above amounts include reserve funds of $5,000
Balance available for operating capital after deposits and expenses clear: approximately $9,057.30

Other Discussions:
Still working with FAU to get permission to locate repeaters there.
Gary N2XNN reported that the K4FAU student club is official again.
