BRARA General Meeting minutes for 1-Nov-2022
The BRARA monthly association meeting was held via Zoom conference. The meeting was called to order by the President, Bruce KO4XL at 7:17 pm local. Attending: 27 Zoom participants. Officers and directors provided an update of their club related activities. Members had the opportunity to provide a brief update of their activities. Tonights speaker is Bruce Braun W6SFG, on Remote Control for Operating Remote Bases (RCFORB).

Minutes for the October general meeting has been posted on the BRARA Blog. Motion to accept the October minutes John C N1QFH. Second Jay S N2ELG. Motion carried. Bonnie provided a financial update for October. October 31,2022 Available Balance was $7250.78 which includes our $3000 reserve fund.
Total cash received was $1675.87 which includes $1323.87 in memberships for 2023, $337 for sale of excess equipment at the Melbourne Hamfest and $15 in a cash donation.
Total Expenses were $1146.71. Expenses include $60.95 in miscellaneous office supplies, $412.08 Directors’ Insurance, $503.86 for
four months electric bill, and $169.82 for Field Day expense not previously cleared.
Additional expenses of $2424.01 not yet cleared include: $924.01 for Fall Radiator Grille including food, paper goods, cleaning supplies and new trash can. $1500 for a new duplexer for the two meter repeater that has been ordered..

Lou has been working with Henry WA2ROA to develop a poll for the membership about BRARA. Originally suggested by John C.

Ralph is working on supporting the tower rotator issues. Ed G has donated a Tail Twister rotator that he had to the club which is the same as the one that we had fail.

Henry WA2ROA said it was nice to see all those attending the Radiator Grille. Thanks to all that helped. He is planning a lunch on November 19 at Lucilles in the Delray Marketplace at 1 pm. Please RSVP. Thanks to Lou for helping him with the poll.
